Maximizing Your Dental Benefits Before They Disappear!
Did you know that each year you are allotted a certain amount of money if you have dental insurance? If you don't use the full amount of your benefits, you will lose them. We refer to this this as "Use it or Lose it!"
To help illustrate this for you, we thought it'd be helpful to envision a tree planted for you by your dental insurance company. Each year it bears "fruit" of whatever dollar benefit you are eligible for. The fruit (money) is dangling from the tree, waiting to be picked and enjoyed. However, if you never pick your harvest of money, it wilts away and actually goes straight back to your insurance company for them to profit from.
At Cardinal Dental, we want our patients to profit from the full extend of all of their dental benefits each year. At the end of 2017 most dental benefits renew. That means that the unused money on your account will go away as well. It's time to use them, so you won't lose them!
This applies to your Flexible Spending Account (FSA) as well. Money that you have remaining in your FSA account will be lost on December 31st!
With your money remaining on your FSA account or dental benefits you can choose to use it on a variety of dental treatments such as:
- Night Guards
- Gum Infection Therapy
Time is of the essence as you consider using all of your dental benefits and FSA account. December 31st is right around the corner! Call and book your dental appointment with Dr. Cynthia Blalock, DDS today!
