Dental sealants are preventive procedure where the deep groove of the teeth are sealed over preventing tooth decay and cavities by up to 70%. Sealants are known to last from one to three years and are covered by most dental insurances. This non-invasive procedure is performed by our experienced and credential dental assistants.

Children are encouraged to brush their teeth 2 times a day for two minutes. Parents should help their children brush their teeth until the age of 10 to prevent cavities. A soft bristled toothbrush and fluoride toothpaste are recommended for children over the age of 3. Children under the age of 5 should not brush their teeth unsupervised. The more parents can help their children with their oral hygiene, the less likely their chances of getting cavities.
